More education needed for the Human Simulator nurse educator

Instructing Human simulation patient education is a modality which is still new to most clinical educators. , There is the need to become proficient in what to anticipate in the process, Yet, little research is even done to the effectiveness of such learning. It is out of need to educate clinical competency and lack of clinical human patient care opportunities in which this teaching modality has come about. Having received vendor instruction  which assists instructors with implementation and troubleshooting. Such instruction is often time-limited due to cost and remains bias to a type of device, and may not as educationally focused on instructor possibilities. Although a creative and techno-savvy instructor may excel, I see the need to have more collaborative workshops and conferences to help heighten the educators ability.

New Nursing Education Paradigm is like a Crossword Puzzle


Nursing Education is moving to a newer paradigm.In Medscape, an article entitled Overhauling Nursing Education: What is missing in Nursing Education?,the author Laura A. Stokowski discusses how it is imperative for us to now change the nature of the nursing education. She discusses how Dr. Belich identifies that today’s nurse needs to be” a more effective player on the healthcare team and navigate healthcare systems and that’s not traditionally taught in a classroom”. This is where Clinical Speciality Nursing has an opportunity to really take over. I see this new paradigm being like a crossword puzzle in which clinical speciality educators focus curriculum instruction on what is most important in today’s current learning for future practice.
